The way to work out your fabric requirement for this scarf window treatment is very simple. Just measure the width of your curtain rod. Then measure how far down each side from the rod that you want the scarf to hang. Then add these three sizes together to give you the total length of your scarf window treatment.
I find ebay a great place to pick up short pieces of really great for not very much. That's where I got the fabric I used in this curtain making video just below.
