Use Panel Track Blinds To Create That Trully Modern Window Treatment

So what's so great about panel track blinds. Well I think they are the ultimate in contemporary window treatments.

These panel track window coverings are top of my list also because they are also very easy window treatments to use on a daily basis.

You simply slide them over your window to close. Then slide them back to uncover your window....what could be simpler.

There is no dressing the curtains into pleats. No having to put them into curtain tie backs or curtain holdbacks.

You know what I mean if you have ever asked the kids, or even worse your husband to open the curtains.... I rest my case your honor ;-)

Great For Large Window Treatment Ideas

These panel track shades as they are sometimes called are really practical as large window treatments....Why's that I hear you ask!

Well the first thing and what most folks consider to be a top priority is the cost. Because they don't use a lot of fabric in comparison to curtains. This keeps the panel costs down.

The second thing that is important but not as obvious is the weight with window treatments for large windows. Lots of gathered fabric with regular curtains means lots of weight. This all hanging from a few wall fixings.

Really Easy Window Treatments To Use

The beauty is also that you don't have to touch the curtain fabric to operate them. Simply open and shut them by using a wand, also called a curtain draw rod.

It is simply a baton that hangs from the front edge of the first panel. This really does make them top of the class for simple window treatments.

You can also have the panels all moving to the open position on either the left or the right.

Alternatively you can have them to open fron the center and sit on both sides of your window.

Custom Made Window Treatments

You can buy these panel track systems as ready made kits with a track and panels in fixed sizes. Just like buying ready made drapes in a packet.

I'm sure you are not suprised that they can also be ordered as custom made window treatments. You can choose how many panels you want and how wide each panel is going to be. You can also choose exactly the drapery fabric you want to use. You can even choose to have the panels made in two or three different co-ordinting fabrics.

It does'nt stop there, you can even add valance window treatments to cover the tracking system up. This gives a really custom finished look.

Obviously the custom made option is going to cost considerably more than the ready made option. I'm sure again that comes as no suprise :-)
